GOTS-SIGASCOT-Italien-Fellowship 2017

For the promotion of the sports orthopaedic exchange in Europe, the GOTS-fellowship program was expanded in 1998. The GOTS-SIGASCOT-Italien-Fellowship provides the opportunity to visit the leading sport scientific institutes and hospitals in Italy and Poland on a biannual basis and to get an idea of the working methods of these colleagues. Our fellows have the chance to present the activities and achievements of GOTS in the field of sports medicine for the member countries.

The fellowship programs are the basis for long lasting contacts and an international network. The group of former fellows has grown to a considerable size inside the  international community. In the mean time, many of the former fellows occupy decisive positions in medicine, science or professional associations.
