GOTS Young Investigator Award – by Bauerfeind

GOTS is pleased to host the forum “GOTS Young Investigator Award ‑ by Bauerfeind”, which aims to promote up-and-coming young scientists, as part of its Annual Meeting. It offers young researchers (e.g., diploma students, scholarship holders, doctoral students, etc.) a platform to present their findings to the public and personally meet senior scientists. Contributions from all fields of sports orthopaedics, sports traumatology, biomechanics and basic sports science are welcome. All work submitted will be reviewed by an independent jury. During the forum outstanding research accomplishments will be rewarded, and at the same time the “GOTS Young Investigator Award ‑ by Bauerfeind” that comes with a cash prize of 1,000 Euro will be handed out for the best presentation.

3. Prize: 500 Euro

Postgraduate students, diploma students, scholarship holders in physical education, completed scientific study in year previous to application

The award-winner has the possibility to publish the work in the Journal „Sports Orthopaedics and Traumatology (SOT). If further publications or lectures on national or international conferences are planned, the GOTS must be informed and the lecture or publication must be headed with the sentence: “Award-winning project (GOTS Young Investigator Award by Baurfeind).”
